The Director of the International Student Services (ISS) supports international students in their academic, cultural, and personal transition to studying in the United States of America. Mr. Ali provides appropriate advising on immigration and visa compliance (such as M-1 regulations), coordinate student orientation programs, offer cultural adjustment support, and help with practical and specific matters like housing, health insurance, and employment options according to governmental regulations. He also plans events and workshops to foster cross-cultural understanding and community engagement. Key Responsibilities: Serves as a Designated School Official (DSO), advises international students on visa regulations and maintains SEVIS records, coordinates international student orientation and integration programs, assists with academic and personal support referrals, plans cultural and educational events, liaises with faculty, staff, and external agencies on international student issues, and promotes intercultural engagement across campus. Mr. Ali serves on NATI’s Senior Leadership and Administrators team and reports directly to the president.
