Dr. Martin Ma serves now as the Chancellor of Virginia University of Science & Technology (VUST). He is a higher education executive and expert in international scholars and students exchanges, international cooperative programs between American universities and international institutions of higher education. Dr. Ma is a veteran educator and expert in information assurance, Cybersecurity, NEXRAD data qualification control/processes, satellite telecommunication, satellite image 5-D real-time animation technology, GIS, remote sensing, GPS applications, and enterprise system design and development. He served as an Honorary Professor, visiting professor, research professor and doctoral students advisors at eight universities. Dr. Ma earned his Ph.D. from University of Oklahoma in 1993 in GeoSciences (GPS, Remote Sensing, GIS, Computing & Information Tech) and MS in Spatial Information Systems/GIS in 1986.
